Reinvention
Lynne’s life has had many twists and turns. After college, she started off teaching Russian and Russian History, spent time as a legal assistant in California and membership coordinator at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, CT, and then worked for over 17 years in banking. The last two decades have been spent as consultant, researcher and writer, exploring and staying on the leading edge of the topics of creativity and leadership. (See Lynne’s bio for more detail.)
Despite this patchwork quilt of occupations, there have been consistent themes to Lynne’s life story, including passions for: learning; history and languages; research, analysis and playing detective; travel; and writing. So now that she is ready to take on new challenges in this next stage of life, she doesn’t view these next steps as personal “reinvention.” Instead, to her this journey to seek out and write her ancestor’s story is actually an extension of past interests, skills and previous experiences as she continues to test her creative talents and venture into new territory.
